Bus, train, tram or boat: every game we make has a bit of public transport in it. Some are about transit. Most just borrow its flavour.

Retro arcade shooting. Hit the buses before they reach the horizon.
Stopping is compulsory.
Run a city's buses. Keep every stop moving.
Tower defense where you board the traffic instead of destroying it.
One bus. A city full of traffic. No brakes required.
Serious sudoku. Pure logic, explained hints, no ads ever.
A layover is the break at the end of the line. Our games are made for moments like that.
Layover Games Lab is a small independent studio in Oslo. Our games are designed by a transit planner with more than twenty years of experience planning buses, trains, trams and ferries across the Nordics.
We make short, satisfying games that are easy to pick up and hard to put down. Monetisation stays low key: no walls of ads, no tricks.
No game asks for your name, email address, contacts or location, and your progress stays on your phone. Busy Lines, Transit Defense and Bus Rampage collect nothing and never go online. Out of Service and Sudoku Dispatch connect only to Google Play when you buy something. Gridlock Terminal and Request Stop use Google services for optional rewarded ads, and Gridlock Terminal also for analytics and crash reports. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, personalised ads and analytics are used only if you agree.
Each game has its own privacy policy. To ask about or delete data, write to info@layovergameslab.com.
